Carving pumpkins

Here are some pictures of the boys carving pumpkins today.

Ian trying to clean out his pumpkin... however he found it to gross and disgusting.He was so proud that he got one whole seed out.Preston waiting to have me cut his pumpkin open to clean it out. He did a very good job and of course didn't want any help. Ian's finished pumpkinPreston's pumpkin, he drew the face all by himself.
My sad sad pumpkin I bought this book that had stencils in it. I was trying to make a house but the lines were too close to each other and when i tried to push the cut pieces out the whole thing just caved in, being frustrated and sick of pumpkins I just cut the whole thing out. Where is our pumpkin expert when we need him???????

Things kids say...

So driving in the car today Preston said Mom you better not be speeding
Me: Don't worry Preston I'm not
Preston: I can't wait until I grow up and can be a police officer
Ian: I can't wait till I can be a race car driver, so that I can go fast
Preston: Ian you can't go fast cause I will pull you over
Ian: I will drive faster
Preston: I will take away your drivers license and throw you in jail
At this point I trying to not laugh out loud
Ian: I will break out and drive away
Preston: Not if I throw away your car and you can never break out of jail.

The arguing goes on for a few minutes of things that Ian will do and Preston just keeps putting him in jail. Now doesn't this sound like a good motion picture race car driver thrown in jail by brother. One good son one bad son.

WHAT IT"S SNOWING........NOT NOW!!

So here is a picture of the boys and the snow today. I was not prepared for snow. I guess I need to get snowboots and gloves for the boys....UGH
