Hello Again

No we didn't fall off the face of the earth... some days I wish. Life has been extremely busy. School is going good 6 months down 2 years to go, I can't wait to be done.It has been very tough trying to manage school as well as a family but I'm hanging in.
Preston is doing good he is getting so smart! I went to his parent teacher conference a couple of weeks ago his teacher told us that he is reading at a 3rd grade level... that's MY boy. He also has a girl in his class that he likes and has been asking to write her a love letter, ok let's think about this one NOOOOO!!!! I am not ready to be dealing with that for at least another 20 years.
Ian is doing good, he is turning into a HUGE game freak, that's all he wants to do and if he isn't playing some kind of video game he cries that he is going to die. I am excited to go to kindergarten round up with him in a month. It's crazy to think that I will have two kids in school all day long.
Now to my princess Izzy just turned 9 months, I can't believe it. I am not ready for her to grow up, I'm trying to soak it all up since she is the last. She is crawling and is into EVERYTHING!! She just discovered how to open cupboards in the kitchen I guess it's time to get baby locks on everything. I had a little scare with her, last week I took her in for her check up and the doctor was very concerned with how fast her fontanelle's are closing so much that I spent the rest of that day at Ogden Regional getting x-rays. I worried about it for the next three days until the results came in and proud to say that it will be ok and we will just watch her really close.

Our crazy life

So I have been horrible about updating the blog so here it goes... We finally bough a house and have been sucked up in the black hole of home repairs. It started by sanding wood floors, staining, painting and then the huge task of moving. Oh and this whole time trying to take care of 5 kids under 6 yrs old. Thank goodness for family that have helped out so much!!!! I need to take after pictures.
Izzy is doing good, growing way to fast. Ian is a handfull as always. Preston is getting ready to start 1st grade on Monday and is excited about that. So here are a few pictures for now until I post the pictures of the house (maybe tomorrow if I'm lucky)

Always laughing and talking to the ladybugs on her bedding

Waiting for me to install her carseat in the car.

I love this face

Ian is always making funny faces

While playing video games with Preston Ian fell asleep still holding the controls. Preston always takes too long of turns. Sorry about the pictures they are from my phone

Izzy can now roll over... time to babyproof the house.

Week in review

This week has been a crazy week with lots of ups and downs. Blake has been working extra hours. So it's been stressful. One day I lost Ian to the park ( he ran away to go and play) I brought him home put him in time out and then about an hour after being out I found him jumping ontop of the car. The next day I woke up to Preston screaming at Ian he was throwing toys in the toliet. UGH THIS KID IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME!!!!!!We had our last week of T-ball !!!!!!( No more sitting in the cold for two hours watching the boys play around and not pay attention.) But most stressing of all is buying a house, we had a house that we really loved but due to not being able to come up with the money for closing cost we lost it :( stupid people they will regret making me so mad. We then found another house that wasn't a short sale that we looked at a couple times and decided to put in an offer. And they accepted our offer and after a few counter offers with the sellers we finally settled on a price we can live with and went under contract yesterday. We are being very optimistic that we can close and start moving in by the end of the month ( we need to have an apprasial done and then the loan is headed to the underwriters, so hopefully it won't take too long). Blake will be gone almost half of July for work so it should be fun trying to do a house by myself again. Oh well it will be a fun adventure RIGHT?

Blake and Izzy cuddling before bed

Ian and Grandpa fishing at the trout farmMason helping Preston fishing. Preston caught the biggest fish out of the ones we brought home, he then named it Squirmy.

Tiffany talked Preston into holding a fish by the mouth. GROSS!!! I was very glad for Sariah and Mason cause the would get the fish off the hook so that I didn't have to touch them.

More Pictures of Isabella

We were at Grandma Erickson's and were talking about some cute poses that we could do for our photo shoot. Grandma got this idea to put her in a basket full of bears.
I love this one. I love how classy black and white pictures can be.

Asleep in her carseat(sorry my phone doesn't take very good pictures)

Welcome Isabella

So I know it's late but here are some pictures of our Isabella Rae. For those of you who didn't get an e-mail with info here it is. She was born May 15 at 6:50 pm weighing 7 lbs 4 oz and 2o in long. Labor was ok (7 hours) and she came out forhead up so she had a big bump on her head that thank goodness went away in a couple of hours. So far she has been a good baby minus waking up every two hours at night. The boys love having her and we are always laughing at the things that they say to her. I'm hoping to get more pictures done next week. A picture of the bump on her headSo far we think that she looks like Preston (except Preston had no hair and when he did get hair it was blonde as can be. I never thought that I would have a child with lots of hair let alone dark.)
